Highly Mobile and At Risk Student Programs
Purpose
The Highly Mobile and At-Risk (HMAR) Student Programs Unit, housed within the Office of Special Populations and Student Support (OSPSS) at the ֱ Education Agency (TEA), is dedicated to increasing awareness, building capacity, and enhancing TEA’s supports, resources, and tools.
These efforts are designed to help ֱ public schools effectively address the unique needs and statutory requirements of highly mobile and at-risk student populations. Ultimately, the HMAR Unit exists to improve the educational experiences and outcomes of all highly mobile and at-risk students across the state.
